International development assistance International consultancy services in close collaboration with donor and recipi-ent countries
We provide a number of advisory and consulting services for international donors such as Danida, the EU, the UN and the World Bank.
Projects include such things as evaluation and analysis, project management, training and capacity building, preparing business plans, community and environmental economy appraisals, nature pro-jects and international environmental agreements. We also work with projects such as the efforts of industrial nations to reduce emissions of greenhouse gasses in Eastern Europe or developing coun-tries.
Similarly, Orbicon participates actively in tasks where international development assis-tance is earmarked for catastrophe relief, peacekeeping operations, or developing democracy and good governance. Decentralising tasks Tasks in the area of international aid are constantly being decentralised, implying an increasingly closer collaboration in recipient countries between international aid organisations and local and in-ternational consultants.
We have therefore developed a number of competences in creating solutions in cooperation with national companies and institutions in recipient countries.
We carry out aid projects in close dialogue with the customer, provided that method and solution correspond to the customer’s desires and needs.
Furthermore, we base all our international aid projects on our wide range of general competences, specialist services and network on the international consultancy market. |
